  • Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion
    • Under Criteria, changed: "All speedy deletion templates thus contain in their body a pre-formatted, suggested warning template to notify the relevant parties of the nomination for speedy deletion under the criterion used." to "All speedy deletion templates (using criteria other than G6, G7, and G8) thus contain in their body a pre-formatted, suggested warning template to notify the relevant parties of the nomination for speedy deletion under the criterion used."
    • Under WP:G5, added: "G5 should not be applied to transcluded templates."
    • Under WP:G8, added: "In certain cases, G8 can be used even if the depending page still exists, i.e. if the deletion of the page has already been decided by consensus or the page clearly meets a criterion for speedy deletion and is tagged as such."
    • Under WP:G11, added: ""Promotion" does not necessarily mean commercial promotion: anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organisation, a point of view, etc. See WP:NOTPROMOTION for the policy on this."
    • Under WP:A3, changed: "Similarly, this criterion doesn't cover a page with an infobox with non-trivial information." to "Similarly, this criterion does not cover a page having only an infobox, unless its contents also meet the above criteria."
    • Under WP:A7, changed: "(e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools)" to "(for example, a band, club, or company, not including educational institutions)".
    • Under WP:F2, added a new template, {{db-fpcfail}}
    • WP:F5 heading changed: "Unused unfree images." to "Orphaned non-free use images."
    • Under WP:F9, removed: "(or, for image files, the {{db-imgcopyvio}} template)"
    • Under WP:F11, added: "Files tagged with {{OTRS pending}} for more than 30 days may also be speedily deleted under this criterion."
    • Under WP:T3, changed: "and are either: substantial duplications of another template" to "i.e., orphaned, deprecated, substantial duplications of another template"
    • Under Procedure for administrators, added: "User:Σ/CSD defcon" (transcluded onto the page).

  • Wikipedia:Deletion policy
    • In WP:DEL#Editing and discussion, changed: [Deletion discussions that are really unresolved content disputes may be closed by an] "administrator" to "uninvolved editor".
    • In WP:DEL#Speedy deletion, added: "Speedy deletion is meant to remove pages that are so obviously inappropriate for Wikipedia that they have no chance of surviving a deletion discussion. Speedy deletion should not be used except in the most obvious cases. [break] If a page has survived a prior deletion discussion, it should not be speedy deleted except for newly discovered copyright violations."

  • Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion
    • In the introduction, changed: "add {{hangon}} to the page and explain the rationale on the page's discussion page." to: "click on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion tag. This button links to the discussion page with a pre-formatted area for the creator to explain why the page should not be deleted."
    • Under WP:G1, added: "This excludes the sandbox and pages in the user namespace. In short, if you can understand it, G1 does not apply."
    • Under WP:G2, changed: "This excludes the sandbox and the users' own user space, as well as pages that were created in error (see G6)." to: "A page created to test editing or other Wikipedia functions. Subpages of the Wikipedia Sandbox created as tests are included, but not the Sandbox itself. This criterion does not apply to pages in the user namespace, nor does it apply to valid but unused or duplicate templates (although criterion T3 may apply)."
    • Under WP:G8, added: "In certain cases, G8 can be used even if the depending page still exists, i.e. if the deletion of the page has already been decided by consensus or the page clearly meets a criterion for speedy deletion and is tagged as such."
    • Under WP:G10, changed: "Pages that disparage or threaten their subject or some other entity, and serve no other purpose." to: "Pages that disparage, threaten, intimidate or harass their subject or some other entity, and serve no other purpose." Added: "material intended purely to harass or intimidate a person".
    • Under WP:G11, changed: "Note that simply having a company or product as its subject does not qualify an article for this criterion." to: "Note: An article about a company or a product which describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion."
    • Under WP:R3, changed: "This criterion also applies to redirects created as a result of a page move of pages created with an implausible title." to: "This criterion also applies to redirects created as a result of a page move of pages recently created at an implausible title."
    • Under WP:F10, added: ".png, .svg"

  • Wikipedia:Attack page
    • In the introduction, changed: "An attack page is a Wikipedia article, page, template, category, redirect or image that was created primarily to disparage its subject ... warn the user who created them by using the {{uw-npa}} series of user warning templates." to: "An attack page is a page, in any namespace, that exists primarily to disparage its subject ... warn the user who created it using the {{Attack}} user warning template."


  • Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion
    • Under WP:G6, removed: "temporarily deleting a page to merge page histories"
    • Under WP:R2, added: [Redirects,] "apart from shortcuts ..."
    • Under WP:F8, added: [please ensure the Commons page description has all of the following]: "The image is not marked as {{keep local}}."
    • Under WP:U1, added: "Note: The template may not display on certain pages (such as .css and .js pages), but its categorization should work."
    • In WP:CSD#Procedure for administrators, added: [Before deleting a page, check the page history to assess whether it would instead be possible to revert and salvage a previous version,] "or there was actually a cut-and-paste move involved." Changed: "For articles that should not be re-created, incoming links in other articles should be removed." to: "For pages that should not be re-created, incoming links in other pages (except in discussions, archives and tracking pages) should be removed."



  • Wikipedia:Proposed deletion of biographies of living people
    • In WP:BLPPROD#Nominating, added: "To place a BLPPROD tag, the process requires that the article contain no sources, whether reliable or not, and in any form (references, external links, etc.), which support any statements made about the person in the biography. Please note that this is a different criterion than is used for sources added after the placement of the tag."
