Wipeout 3 is a 1999 racing video game developed by Psygnosis and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation console. In this third game in the Wipeout series, players control extremely fast anti-gravity ships in a futuristic setting and use weapons to force other contenders out of the race. Psygnosis hired the British design studio Designers Republic to develop the game's look and feel, wanting a futuristic yet plausible setting. The game's soundtrack was assembled from electronica artists including The Chemical Brothers and Orbital, as well as other performers. Critics praised Wipeout 3's audiovisual presentation, with complaints leveled at the game's unforgiving learning curve and controls. Despite overall positive reception, the game was a financial disappointment. Wipeout 3 Special Edition, featuring additional content, was released in 2000, and the next entry in the series, Wipeout Fusion, was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. (Full article...)

- Blurb looks good if we can find a free image ... do you have a preference? - Dank (push to talk) 18:01, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- The easiest choices would be the numerous free images of the contributing artists mentioned, such as File:Sasha front1.jpg, File:The Chemical Brothers performing in Barcelona, Spain (2007).jpg or File:Orbital Brixton Academy.jpg. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 15:14, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. Wehwalt says he'll probably be scheduling next week; let's see if the Sasha issue is a problem, then we can pick an image. - Dank (push to talk) 15:44, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- David Levy, Wehwalt is going to run this ... does some version of the Chemical Brothers image work for you? - Dank (push to talk) 12:10, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
- Dan: I suggest using the game's logo. —David Levy 20:36, 18 August 2019 (UTC)

- Coordinator comment I'll schedule this today or tomorrow but I think it would be commented on if we left Sasha's name in the blurb, and definitely not an image. So I've taken his name out.--Wehwalt (talk) 06:07, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
