This is a navbox that changes almost every single week during the NFL season, and is not particularly useful from the end of a season to the beginning of a new one (roughly eight months). For example, at the moment, Trevor Siemian is listed on this template as the starting quarterback for the New York Jets, despite not being on their roster. But as the template is currently structured, he will remain there until September when the Jets start a different quarterback in week 1. Who started at quarterback in the NFL on a week-to-week basis during the season, and who last started in the final week of the season, is not useful here. Template:Current NFL long snappers, Template:Current NFL punters, and Template:Current NFL placekickers were all previously deleted for similar reasons. Oppose - There's an article that covers the scope unlike the other three, but I do agree that having a backup QB who started one game in Week 18 remain listed in the template for the next nine months isn't ideal.
