The stated intent per page history is to describe not civil and not-military conflicts. I'm not persuaded that this currently single-use template is needed between access to Template:Infobox civil conflict and Template:Infobox military conflict, especially since the only using page describes military actions and the infobox use itself is essentially one or the other of these two templates (I lean more toward the latter).   • Strong Keep I think that the infobox template serves its purpose well in that case; it allows for the infobox to list parties involved without using the term "belligerent" in cases where there was not actually a military conflict, while omitting the word "civil" because this was not a civil conflict. Rather than shoehorning this into being a hot military conflict and using the infobox for that when it was not, this template was created to use the properties of the civil conflict template without having the word "civil". It seems to have worked quite well on the page it's on, and there are no complaints on the talk page of the article about the infobox in its current state. If you don't like the infobox in that article (as you indicate in your nomination statement), it might be worth starting a discussion on the talk page rather than trying to delete the underlying template. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 02:56, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
