Keep, Template:INFOBOX INDCONST is used to substitute the full template of Template:Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency while using an AWB or during manual edit. Substituting Template:Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency gives unnecessary extra bits thats need to be cleaned up. --Venkat TL (talk) 06:13, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Special:Diff/1102475255 shows the result of {{subst:Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency}}. Now compare this with Special:Diff/1102475526 when you use {{subst:INFOBOX INDCONST}}. @Gonnym @WikiCleanerMan, @MPGuy2824, I dont know how to fix it. I am not sure if this is even fixable. I just want to get the work done and hence this came as an obvious solution till someone finds a better one. I request the admin to not delete this until a viable alternative to do the same thing is made available. I think this deletion nomination is going overboard and deleting stuff that are useful and actively being used without any clear policy basis for deletion. Venkat, see Special:Diff/1102478636 which shows the results of {{subst:Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency/sandbox}}. Please test it out yourself. I'll test it out more tomorrow and if seems fine, I'll make the same changes on Template:Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency. Indeed I figured out the "Infobox Indian state legislative assembly constituency" was not made for substitution, which is why I made one for doing just that. The infobox is used on 5,000+ pages, so we need to be careful about editing the infobox template. This deletion of Template:INFOBOX INDCONST is unnecessarily disruptive. @MPGuy2824 The comparison is at Special:Diff/1102475526/1102503945, I think the comments should be substituted, they help the editors.
