The template has a confusing name as Turkism refers to all Turkic people and is associated to Turkism Day which is celebrated in memory of racist ideologues. Anti Turkish sentiment is a better term, but also this needs to be proven and sourced in the respective articles which currently is not the case at most articles. Just read the Wikipedia articles Pan-Turkism and Turkism Day. Leading Pan-Turkists wanted to ally themselves with Nazi Germany during World War 2 and Turkism Day is celebrated on the 3 May in memory of reunion of racists on the 3 May 1944. I don't believe Saotura meant to create a template with this confusing name or that they knew what Turkism is associated with.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:02, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nominating for deletion. This sidebar/template is only used in one article (Byzantine Greece) and is redundant to the widely used Template:Middle Ages by region. I suspect this is because it's obnoxiously long and would fill a significant amount of space, probably pushing a lot of text and images down. Seeing no reason to keep it around.   • We should be a little careful that this isn't something with historical value that was used at Wikipedia:Introduction (historical) and lost in the great migration when that was moved to the "(historical)" name.
