I took a review of this template's uses. In its use on sports pages, it is less accessible (and less correct) than {{div col}} and {{flatlist}} and should use those accordingly (or one plus some styling). On its sole use outside that context, its removal would be more correct (and better wikitext). It should be deleted for encouraging bad accessibility practices (and deleted were it to be redesigned to be a duplicate of the other templates). Izno (talk) 14:22, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed numbers of columns (as opposed to fixed width of columns) are deprecated on the English Wikipedia, plus I can't see any advantage to this complicated module over the much simpler Template:Div col. * Pppery * it has begun... 04:15, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This module is required by other of my modules (Module:ComplForColorModules).
I am improving this module so that it has two properties:
  • Automatic width of columns proportional to the width of the contents of each column.
  • Distribute the text of a list in several columns, without separate in two columns elements that have a nested list at the same time.
  • Using TemplateData.
I uploaded it before it was upgraded to show you the utility of the other modules.

Your idea that Module:ComplForColorModules somehow fundamentally depends on this module is mistaken. Furthermore, even if you write all these improvements, I still fail to see what advantage this provides over the much simpler Template:Div col, which leaves the task of managing column widths to the browser. * Pppery * it has begun... 23:11, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
