Keep In use. Since it was remade into different languages and exists 5 different versions (as of 2017) played by different actors, it will assist the readers in identifying the roles and actors and for navigation purpose. Also, last month the right for its Chinese remake was bought[1][2], which makes it the Indian film with most remakes. Propose merging Template:Politics of the Republic of China with Template:Politics of Taiwan.

merge/redirect. Looking at the history {{Politics of Taiwan}} was a redirect to {{Politics of the Republic of China}}, after a move for most of its existence. It was made into a separate template in 2015, but looks like that was done by copying {{Politics of the Republic of China}}. They look identical, so not clear how much needs to be merged. Merge anything that usefully can be merged, if anything, then restore the redirect.--JohnBlackburne^words_deeds 22:10, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
merge from ROC to Taiwan. Taiwan is the common name. In January, the two templates were identical in content, and I tried to redirect the ROC template to the Taiwan template. This was reverted on technical grounds. Now we may proceed with that merge/redirect. The ROC template is not much used; the Taiwan one is. merge to "Politics of Taiwan" {{Politics of the Republic of China}} was a footer and was transformed to a sidebar without knowing an existing sidebar is located at {{Politics of Taiwan}}. I made all recent update on {{Politics of Taiwan}} only. The format of {{Politics of Taiwan}} is closer to other "Politics of (country)" templates.
