I noticed today that this website was being spammed using the EL template. I brought this up last May at this discussion. While the consensus was against including the EL, one editor suggested taking it to WP:TFD, which I've now done. Since it is too easy to add any movie website link to EL sections, we have clear guidelines at MOS:FILM#External links to prevent such sections from becoming link farms. • Delete Per the previous discussion Erik links to. While the site contains some useful information, its coverage seems limited, and is not as comprehensive as other well established sites used for EL in film articles. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 14:03, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete The site is basically a glorified social media network and there is no information whatsoever on how their information is gathered. Its a worse IMDb. Andrzejbanas (talk) 14:56, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • FilmAffinity is the #1 movie website for Spanish-speaking countries. Its English version is full of authoritative information from producers and distributors, and it also includes extracts from reviews by American and British film critics. Moreover, you can check out the Alexa ranking for the "movies" category (https://www.alexa.com/topsites/category/Arts/Movies) showing that it is above BoxOfficeMojo. Deleting the links to FilmAffinity in the English version of Wikipedia would be like deleting the IMDb links of the Spanish version of Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.61.46.126 (talk) 19:01, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There is no information in a FilmAffinity web page that is not already provided by IMDb or in an ideal Wikipedia article. Rotten Tomatoes also has a comprehensive list of reviews, and between that and Metacritic, we don't need yet another website sharing the same thing. • FilmAffinity is a very popular website in Mexico, I do not know if it is also in the US, I have been using it for several years and it is very practical, I think it is the most important movie website in spanish.Larvizu (talk) 19:47, 23 December 2017 (UTC) Larvizu (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. Being important in the Spanish language is a case to make for inclusion at the Spanish-language Wikipedia, not the English-language one. We already have numerous far more popular movie websites in the English language that we include by community consensus. Please see WP:EL. • Delete Not really qualified for being used as external link. Raymond3023 (talk) 02:41, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I know FilmAffinity and it is practical for me to consult the wikipedia in English and have some link to FilmAffinity directly, because it is a very popular website in my country and a reference in terms of movies — Preceding unsigned comment added by AdrianEduardo (talkcontribs) 17:43, 26 December 2017 (UTC) AdrianEduardo (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.
