This is not an area with any defined boundaries, more of a concept. It is only somebody's opinion whether many outlying places are in or outside the area. Delete as original research. Charles (talk) 10:16, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

• Delete it's primarily a publicity concept with no legal foundation; the only source that uses the term "Banburyshire" to any great extent is the Banbury Guardian, and then only in touristy articles - they don't use the term in serious news reports. --Redrose64 (talk) 14:25, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

• Interesting. I do wonder if the subject would be better redirected and merged to Banbury. It is only in the lead section there at present.--Charles (talk) 18:17, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
