Template:Nihongo title (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Duplicate of Template:Nihongo with the addition of bold-italic, which should be applied on the article level to begin with. —Farix (t | c) 18:35, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: per comments by TheFarix – very simple Wiki markup (five apostrophes in a row). Will take some effort to fix the pages where this is in use, though. Prime Blue (talk) 21:09, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not really. First would be to change the template's code to {{Nihongo|'''''{{{1}}}'''''|{{{2|}}}|{{{3|}}}}} and then subset all the transclusions. —Farix (t | c) 01:21, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Railer-man (talk) 19:34, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Doesn't seem practical to have a completely different template just to bold the title, which can be easily done anyways. Blake (Talk·Edits) 14:40, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • As the creator, I guess I am cool with the deletion. The main differentiating feature originally is not the italics, but that I made sure that the "?" didn't show up in print documents. Since that has been fixed in the main template, there isn't much need for this one. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 06:30, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of deleting, is it possible to redirect Nihongo_title to Nihongo? The reason being, a lot of articles use the N_T template and it would cause a bit of an eyesore if it stopped functioning. Is there a way we can get a bot to go around and reliably replace it? If not, I figure simply redirecting might save us some work? Would it still function? Do they use the same variables? AweCo (talk) 03:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As stated by Farix above, it should be relatively easy to replace the template. Blake (Talk·Edits) 22:13, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
