I guess I'm an "advanced beginner" here. I'm experienced with wiki markup, templating (including parser functions), custom JS and CSS, gadgets, and other technical aspects of MediaWiki software. I've come to the Teahouse as a new "Wikipedian", as most of my previous experience has come from using MediaWiki software, but not necessarily Wikipedia itself. I'm here to learn more about the community and culture here at Wikipedia.

My logon descibes my interest in Wikipedia as what references there were to 112 Signals Unit needed drastic updating and having spent a number of years there in the early days I wanted to set the record straight. The role of the unit was originally classified but following the lifing of the 30 year publications constraint I now can gain what public information I need from the National Archive at Kew, hence my choice of image, The Waterlily House at Kew Gardens just a few hundred yards away.

I do crafts and bake homemade breads

I have been told that my first name Jena came from a French Actress when my mom was in her teens back in 1950's. Does anyone out there that might know who she was??? Is she deceased or still alive in her old age??? I like to know as I got my name from her when I was born.
