I am an active contributor in wikipedia for more than a year and I have over 400 constructive contributions and created 17 articles in wikipedia (although I knew that's not a lot, but at least that fulfilled the basic requirements for being a reviewer). I am delighted to help wikipedia in all the ways that I can, and I have already read the policy on vandalism and fully understand what is and what is not vandalism, I have read the guideline on reviewing and if I was granted the permission to be a reviewer, I will decide carefully whether I should accept the new revision of pending changes or not and also, I WILL continue to make constructive contributions in wikipedia. I have never seen so much IP editing on an article. I want to clean up the article and nominate it for FL, so vandalism would mess the nomination up. CrowzRSA 21:44, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Um... look where you are. This is RFPERM, not RFPP, and without the page first being pending change protected, the reviewer flag won't do you any good there. Second, looking at the article, there isn't the history of disruptive activity to justify protection. Third, I've written a fair few FL's myself, so if you have any questions, my door is open. Fourth, since this is RFPERM, you do meet the standards for the reviewer flag, so   Done. Fifth.... um, there isn't a fifth. Courcelles 21:51, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

This system seems a good alternative to semiprotection... so long as good edits are accepted as soon as possible because we need to encourage helpful editors to join the project and not frustrate them too much. The only way to do this is to incrase the number of reviewers, so I would like to join the group to be of assistance as I can. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 19:44, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

An interwiki from one of my articles here brings to an article which has earned a featured article barn star in ru-wiki; another article there is categorized as the good one. My SUL has +11 000 edits. Hope that my experience shall be useful for those seeking for the reviews of their articles here, in en-wiki. — Cherurbino (talk) 09:29, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

{{not done}}Reviewing is the process of checking pending changes to determine if they should be accepted, reverted or fixed through editing. This right is not, in general, about providing editorial review and input on how to improve articles (any editor can do that). Please read WP:Reviewer to understand the modalities of the right. Your global contributions are highly appreciated. However, I suspect that you've not understood what this reviewer right is specifically for. Hence, for now, not done. Wifione ....... Sorry, but I didn't say a word about editorial reviewing. When I wrote about "those seeking for the reviews" I meant a routine practice in ru-wiki when somebody requests the reviewers (and I do have such a flag in ru-wiki for several months) to review their changes. Also, I have the autopatrolled rights in en-wiki. Cherurbino 14:22, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
I understand your point of view. I have to mention that the reviewer right here is granted for use on the English Wikipedia, and in general, this would have been given by me on the basis of your contributions to the English Wikipedia. I could not see any anti-vandalism reversions that you may have made on the English Wikipedia. So I have no way to determine your proficiency in identifying vandalism and what is not vandalism on this project, especially as it relates to a quite different language than Russian (I mention this because a few of your edits document lack of full proficiency in English). I should suggest that you put in a week or two of anti-vandalism edits on this project and re-apply. I should have no issues granting you this right then. Irrespective of my refusal, if any other administrator in the between wishes to grant you this right, they can do so. My apologies again. Thanks. Wifione ....... Re: "I could not see any anti-vandalism reversions that you may have made on the English Wikipedia" — sorry I didn't emphasize them separately, well… this one as of January, 15 is probably exactly what you've been looking for ('rv' in comments to this diff stands for 'reversion' of the promo link). — Cherurbino (talk) 17:50, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Meanwhile, the point of my particular concern in en-wiki is a cross-wiki vandalism (namely, «Abuse of tags») aggravated with the use of the open proxy servers (see my topic in 'Adm.noticeboard\incidents' "Proxy fraud in Articles for Deletion", published on January, 13, 2011). Sorry for having not drawing your attention to this specific issue as well. — updated Cherurbino (talk) 18:19, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Done You're a generally trustworthy editor. I'm granting you this right, but with certain qualifications. I have left details on your talk page. Thanks. Wifione ....... Leave a message 03:17, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
I'll leave a note on your talk page with all the necessary confirmations. Your strict, rigorous approach to carrying out your administrative functions inspires me as an example to follow. It also encourages my expectations to rely upon your advices and experience in future. Thank you very much for your confidence which will be undoubtedly justified. — Cherurbino (talk) 04:29, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
Just read up on being a reviewer, seems like something quite rewarding I would like to try if you'll let me. No sweat if you don't though! Cls14 (talk) 23:14, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

I'm newer to the editing side than most, but am learning much about markup and wikipedia policies. I noticed a protected page and have read up on instructions as well as discussion about the reviewing process. Would like the ability to help, though there's clearly not any sort of backlog since only about 3 hundreths of a percent of total WP pages are protected. Thanks for consideration. After an absence of some time, I am able to participate in Wiki again, at least on the weekends. I have over 2000 edits, many of which deal with vandalism. While I am still re-acclimating myself to the changes since I was last here, I would like to give a hand in reviewing. I have read all of the guidelines about being a reviewer. I also have rollbacker. Pax85 (talk) 05:27, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Hello. I am an user with over 5,000 edits (most of them have something to do in fighting vandalism). I have rollbacker rights so far in en-Wikipedia. I am very familiar with WP:VAN, and I have read Wikipedia:Reviewing#Reviewing_process. I had a long break from Wikipedia editing because of real life issues (job), but I returned couple of days ago and I have no plans on leaving again. If I do not get a permission to be a reviewer, I understand. Thank you IlyushkaTalk!Contribs 21:52, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

I have been on Wikipedia for nearly 5 years, although have at various points been absent. I spend a fair bit of time patrolling the recent changes list and an familiar with vandalism rules and the crux of content rules here. I have a few thousand edits, mostly anti-vandalism. I do not currently support this pending changes thing but I thought I should become more familiar with it by actively participating in it. I'd like to form my own opinion as to whether any problems inherent in pending changes are due more to user interface or to the general concept and just how useful it is. I have been a member here since 2004. My account was compromised and I made a new account in 2007. Since then I have been an active reviewer of changes and have made several contributions to WP, including anti-vandalism and consolidating. I would like to be part of the Pending Changes trial. Hello, although I'm mostly active in Pl-Wiki and here I mostly add interwiki and sometimes making some corrections, and although I'm not a native English speaker, I believe I know enough of both the language and Wiki-rules not to do much harm ;) Basically, I think I may help from time to time, not only as an editor, but also as reviewer (in pl-wiki I have both reviewer and rollbacker rights and no complaints so far). If you do not think me worthy enough ;) may I have an autorevier status without applying again to the "proper" list? Thanks in advance Felis domestica (talk) 03:07, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

I am an established user (8200+ edits total across all projects, with 5700+ here on en.wiki), and I hold Rollbacker rights here and Image-reviewer, Patroller, and Rollbacker rights on Commons. While my level of activity here has dropped way off due to a very busy job off-wiki, I think that helping to reduce PC backlogs is something that I can do on any page I am visiting where I notice it needs attention. I think I should have Reviewer privileges because I am an active editor, I understand what my responsibilites and rights are if I get reviewer privileges, revert lots of vandalism, and Understand Wikipedia policies. This is my second time trying to apply for Reviewer priviliges, and I believe I have more experience now. Nyswimmer (talk) 19:12, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

I am an active editor. I have been a Wikipedia member since 2006. I patrol the recent changes page and use my Rollback Authority to fix vandalism when applicable. I also like to spend time discussing articles for deletion. I have enough knowledge about Wikipedias guidelines and am also aware of what should not be on Wikipedia. I also carefully read the guidelines on reviewing. I would be a very active reviewer if given the permission to become one. ASPENSTITALKCONTRIBUTIONS 21:38, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
