Issues to be mediated edit

  • How to word the lead sentence without violating WP:NPOV, WP:V, and WP:WEASEL. While many wordings are possible, recent discussion has primarily addressed two:
    • "John Edward ... is an American author and television personality best known for performing as a psychic medium on his shows Crossing Over and John Edward Cross Country." (emphasis added) and
    • "John Edward ... is an American author and television personality best known for appearing/performing as a professed psychic medium on his shows Crossing Over and John Edward Cross Country."

On Hold: Dreadlocke contacted me saying that he was feeling a bit under the weather at the moment, and wishes to hold off on beginning mediation just yet. The case is still accepted, but shall not begin yet. Thank you for your cooperation.

Open For Mediation: Dreadlocke has confirmed that he is now feeling better and wishes to proceed. While I am not taking this case personally, it is now open for a mediator.

I can take this case as well. Proceed on the article talk page rather than here. -Ste|vertigo 08:40, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
