editIssues to be mediated
edit- The appropriateness of personal recollections as a source on Wikipedia
- The appropriateness of using "counter propaganda" to offset perceived errors in Wikipedia
Additional issues to be mediated
edit- Whether or not some sources are "more reliable" than others.
- Appropriateness of citing obscure, questionable sources rather than those widely recognized as 'reliable'.
- Clarification of definition of "Personal Webpages", etc. (The article cites a certain webpage which is clearly a "personal" page, even though it is addressed as a sub-page of another page, which might be considered a valid source under Wikipedia's guidelines).
- If "counter-propaganda" is allowable on the 'talk' page, rather than in the article itself.
Parties' agreement to mediate
edit- All parties should sign below, indicating that they agree to mediate the issue. If any party fails to sign, or if a party indicates they do not agree, then the mediation will be rejected. Only signatures and "agree" or "disagree" should appear here; any comments will be removed.

- Hello, I'd be willing to mediate this case (assuming it's not a stale issue). Please indicate whether or not you accept me as a mediator below, and if so, whether you would prefer public or private mediation. Thanks! Armedblowfish (talk|mail|contribs) 23:59, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I'll accept Armedblowfish as mediator, and I don't mind public mediation, as some of the issues may be of interest to others. I don't think the issue has gone stale, it's more of an uneasy truce at this point, and I'm sure the interested parties would like to see some kind of final closure.
