- Could it mean "background"? The abbreviation occurs only in combination with "CVR", so I think it may indicate that the cover artist is credited solely for the background image of the cover, not its lettering. --Lambiam 18:06, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- That sounds convincing. As it's the default situation, it would take particular series of events to make such kind of precision considered necessary. Which would explain the absence of that code it most glossaries (it exists with the same meaning in glossaries related to narration) --Askedonty (talk) 22:36, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
