May 31 edit

House formerly on Pump and Ridgefield edit

I am looking for information about a house that used to stand on the corner of Pump and Ridgefield. The address is now 2100 Pump Rd. It used to be painters that lived there and hace a painting on the side of the house. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:5c2:8600:6a90:159e:dd1a:1d5f:3e (talk) 31 May 2021 (UTC)

Assuming you are referring to the intersection in Henrico, VA, 2100 Pump Road is not a current address. Further, it is not at the corner of Pump Road and Ridgefield Parkway. That would be 2200 Pump Road, which is currently a medical office. Therefore, it is necessary to know if you are referring to a house that used to stand where the medical office now stands or are you looking for a house what used to stand at the corner of Pump Road and Old Prescott Road, which is approximately where 2100 Pump Road would be. Or, are you referring to a completely different city? 97.82.165.112 (talk) 13:10, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In case Henrico is meant, the Henrico County Historical Society has a website on its lost architecture. ---Sluzzelin talk 13:34, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
For the sake of information, the corner being referred to seems to be here, which is in an unincorporated area of Henrico County, Virginia. The mailing address for the area seems to be either Richmond, Virginia, Tuckahoe, Virginia, or Henrico, Virginia, though it is definitely outside of the city limits of Richmond. There is not actually a place known as "Henrico" per se, it is just a name used by the postal service for any place that isn't already part of another recognized place in Henrico, County. Henrico County is an oddly shaped county that forms the northwestern, northern, and eastern immediate suburbs of Richmond. This particular intersection lies northwest of the city, in the midst of some medium-density suburban sprawl.--Jayron32 14:34, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
