Wikipedia Bug

Hello,

This past few days my Wikipedia page has been habing an error/bug. It doesn't come out like the usual, instead it looks like a broken page.

At first, I thought it had something to do with the internet connection, but I saw my brother's Wikipedia page was running just fine. I don't know what's happening with mine. Can anyone help me to fix this please?

What platform are you using (Windows, Android, iPhone, ...)? Is this one specific page, or are you having problems with several pages? Can you describe in some detail how the page looks broken?  --Lambiam 07:24, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

Issue with a template? Template:Year nav topic5

There seems to be an issue with this template. It's not displaying properly. Showing Template:Year nav topic4|link=Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2021 June 16#Template:Year nav topic5|type=sidebar|help=off|bigbox=yes}} in addition to the table it generates.

Something happened on this diff earlier today. I think there is a missing {{ on the first line. I can't edit it though as it is a protected page. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 18:53, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

These days, how many countries can you stop at in one train ride (i.e. without having to change your train, seat or cabin)?

Among the routes shown in our List of EuroCity services, there is one, a variety of the Mimara numbered "210/211", which runs Munich – Salzburg – Villach – Ljubljana – Zagreb – Belgrade, thus stopping in five different countries. I'm not sure that route is available right now, though, and I'm aware of plenty of trains not running since the beginning of the pandemic. So I'm happy with "these days" being 2019 too. I know there used to be routes including far more countries in the past, such as those of the Orient Express, but I'm looking for possibilities in the near(-ish) past/present/future. On that map it even looks like it passes through Slovakia too (no it doesn't, zoomed in, and I was looking for stops). On Wikipedia, I now found it mentioned in articles on train stations, such as Nice-Ville_station or Moscow Belorussky railway station where it's called the Riviera Express. ---Sluzzelin talk 18:40, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

What I can't find is if you can stay in your seat during this change. Since if you have to leave the train during this and then reenter, the criteria of not changing trains is not really met (in my opinion). Rmvandijk (talk) 11:14, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

According to this Independent travel report you don't have to leave the train: "After passport control, the train is shunted into a hangar where the bogeys are changed and the wheel gauge adjusted to fit the wider tracks of post-Soviet countries – a process that is bumpy but doesn't require disembarking." ---Sluzzelin talk 13:11, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

The same procedures were routinely used for moving between Iberian-gauge railways and standard-guage tracks in Spain and Portugal, and at the Spain–France border, but conversion to standard guage has been proceeding, so I don't know how often this is still necessary. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 2.122.0.163 (talk) 08:18, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

There's some preparation for conversion, but apart from new high speed lines almost everything is still on Iberian gauge. Most through passenger trains these days are high speed trains and most goods are handled in containers, where it's easier to put the container on a different car than to put the car on different bogies, so I guess there isn't that much bogie swapping going on these days in the Pyrenees. Portugal has the same gauge as Spain, and I've never heard of bogie exchanging being done at the Spanish-French border. Rather, trains that go through onto the other gauge (as far as I know) have variable gauge wheelsets. --174.94.31.124 (talk) 23:43, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
