Heard over the loudspeaker at Liverpool Street Station tonight:

"The train at platform nine is the 17-oh-oh service to Ipswich."

OO gauge (usually not '00') is a scale used in model railways in the UK, corresponding to approximately 1:76. It superseded O gauge, approximately 1:45 (not a train departure time).
