Pro Evolution's "super-cancel" command on FIFA13? edit

Hi all,

When I hold R1+R2 (and no other button) during PES matches, my player stops moving, which is especially important when I don't want him to run after the ball going into touch, for example. That's called "Super Cancel" (really). Furthermore, If I were to hold R1+R2 AND arrows for direction, my player would start bending his run according to my arrows (because of R1+R2). With R1+arrows only, my player runs in a straight, predictable line and arrives a tad late onto every through ball.

So: can I perform Super Cancel in FIFA13 on PS3? If yes, can the command be transferred to R2? I play with arrows only, but I would make an exception in FIFA's case.

If KONAMI decrease the tackling efficacy, we're back to 2001... and I love it. PES16 got really close to it when speed setting is set to 1. 46.188.244.137 (talk) 00:48, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Could anyone identify this novel? edit

  1. I read it about 15 years ago, so it should be published before 2000.
  2. It was a school story.
  3. The protagonist was named Angela, nicknamed Einstein.
  4. The antagonists were named Jimmy Black and Catherine Moss. They used a nickname, Black Cat.
  5. Angela received email messages from Black Cat that were intended for someone else.
  6. There were three messages, two lines each, which together, spell FRIDAY.
    1. Full Speed Ahead
    2. Repeat Same Program
    3. If Possible
    4. Delete Everything
    5. After This Message
    6. Your Instructions Are Complete
  7. The messages were about a plot to hack the school computers.

This was a childhood favourite. Wish I could give a reward to anyone who can identify the novel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.255.248.103 (talk) 15:50, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've reformatted your message for easier readability. A quick Google check found nothing except this reference desk page when looking for <"Repeat Same Program" "Your Instructions Are Complete" friday>, and <"Jimmy Black" "Catherine Moss"> found nothing else except a church website, a "Find your school classmates" page, and an online phone directory. Probably we'll have to depend on someone else who remembers encountering this book. Nyttend (talk) 18:06, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pan - Alternative story edit

The Peter Pan prequel film Pan serves as an alternative origin story for Peter Pan and Captain Hook. How is their origin story alternative? 86.129.107.62 (talk) 20:13, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It is an alternative in that it does not represent nor follow the original concept first created by J.M. Barrie in Peter Pan, Peter and Wendy or Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens. Maineartists (talk) 20:32, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The same question was asked her a month or two ago, and your answer is consistent with the answer then. Another way of saying it might be that it's not "canonical". ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 21:29, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The reference for that last suggestion is canon (fiction). --69.159.60.210 (talk) 11:03, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
