Where can I watch Gene Rodenberry's Andromeda in the US?

So, when I was living in Britain I used to watch this fun show on British Netflix, but when I came back stateside I could not find it on American Netflix (and yes, I realise it's the same service, but with different offerings based on contracts). I'm halfway through the show and would like to finish it. How can I make this happen? And yes, I know about the less-than reputable options. Well, that limits it. You've tried Netflix. You could try Hulu, but then I'm afraid you'll have to resort to the darkside. Is there a drainage issue or surveying error on these sites, or is it just a matter of ill fame and loose ethics? InedibleHulk (talk) 07:40, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

More like I just want Netflix's nice amenities. I could care less about some television company's brand of ethics. I'm also just not fond of those ads that insist I need a non-existent media player installed just so they can give me ransomware and steal my dox (though my security is pretty ironclad). NoScript is good for dealing with those (and TubePlus is fairly clean). Sometimes the hosting site itself uses Javascript for conditional ads; to avoid those, right click and Inspect Element (or your browser's equivalent) and delete the objects with "ad" in them. Or everything that isn't the player. Depending on the video, sometimes clicking the player in a third-party site will get you straight to the host's site. One less layer of bullshit.

I usually use another site I won't link, but yeah, should probably use NoScript, though no viruses or even hints of malware yet. Thevideo.me links usually do that. You go through the garbage and then you're on their site without bandwidth being nommed by ads and other superfluous crap. I only feel guilt towards things with feelings. Network execs have none. Amazon UK says a (presumably new issue) DVD box set of the entire series will be available later this month for £65. Presumably other retailers will get it too. -- Finlay McWalterᚠTalk 11:54, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Netflix has it in their DVD rental service[1], but I'm pretty sure there's no legit streaming of the show in USA. I've looked. APL (talk) 23:07, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
