Grammys

I heard somewhere that The Grammy Awards are not trusting because Queen never won any of those. Is it true? Miss Bono [zootalk] 20:21, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain what you mean? I don't really understand the question. The Grammys are voted on by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, but they don't always select the most popular music as winners. Check out the nomination process. It doesn't help much, but it explains how it works. Mingmingla (talk) 23:34, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Queen has several songs that have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, though the OP is correct that they did not win any awards contemporary to when the songs came out. What that means for the Grammys and their credibility is entirely up to the beholders own opinion. Wikipedia's own article has a large section on criticism, see Grammy Award#Criticism, if the OP wants to read some of what others have written. --Jayron32 01:30, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
