edit

You're not going to get any responses with a question like that. We're not mind readers. Where is "this way"? Where is your town? What is "chour"? -- JackofOz (talk) 09:31, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean stuff like Rock Eisteddfod Challenge and High School League State Championships (track and field) or interstate High School Football championships? Julia Rossi (talk) 11:18, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Whois, and the IP's only other edit, indicate that this person resides in Fargo, North Dakota, if that's any help. --Richardrj talk email 11:36, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why can't I comprehend why people ask such questions? What goes through their mind? Why is this question driving me crazy? Did he seriously expect...I am at a loss for words right now. I'm think I'm going to lie down for a bit. 206.252.74.48 (talk) 14:33, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Haha. Chillax mon, be from f'Town in the friendly state. Now s/he can put those titles into google for her/his district. I'm just guessing since there's nothing else but Richardrj's atlas. Julia Rossi (talk) 02:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Mondays - Hallelujah (Paul Oakenfold Remix)

edit

I love the song Hallelujah (Paul Oakenfold Remix) by the happy mondays. Gregorian chanting is not usually my thing but the chant that is sampled at the beginning of this song is amazing. Can anyone help me track down the original? It sounds like one monk chanting away on his own in a cathedral, hope someone can help. Thank you. 60.231.198.194 (talk) 08:41, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was a film awarded for the academy award like this??

edit

There is a place (or someone can tell me here) where i can find a list of films that won Best Picture Award without winning any other Academy Awards? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Exdeathbr (talkcontribs) 18:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good question! I browsed through this list on IMDb and found that only three films have ever won best picture but no other Academy Awards. These are:
Hope this helps! -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 01:27, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

thanks!!!Exdeathbr (talk) 03:18, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note that this is less likely nowadays because there are more awards than there used to be. In particular, 1935 was the last year for which there were only two Oscars for acting instead of two each for leading and supporting rules. --Anonymous, 14:24 UTC, March 5, 2008.
Franchot Tone would have been a great supporting actor nominee for Bounty. Too many actors from the same film got nominated for Best Actor, and they diluted each other's votes. Corvus cornixtalk 18:35, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name that tune

edit

What's the name of the main theme/tune of Team Fortress 2 and who's it done by? It's a kickass bluesy tune

Spade9 (talk)

It's called "Team Fortress 2" and it is done by Valve. Unless you mean the drum song, which I believe is called "Art of War", or the waltzy piece - which is appropriately called "The Rocket Waltz". 206.252.74.48 (talk) 13:49, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you're feeling gutsy, you can purchase Audiosurf through Valve's Steam network which, on top of being a phenomenally addictive music game, comes bundled with the Orange Box soundtrack, so you can have it and enjoy it for all time! Poechalkdust (talk) 20:28, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
