Legacy Boot edit
On DELL insprion 15 5570, I have ubuntu 20.04 lts, do I need to backup my flies before changing boot to legacy boot? Also is there a way to prevent non-linux os to be installed on the laptop? --Thegooduser Life Begins With a Smile :) 🍁 02:19, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- It's always a good idea to back up your data. You want to do that regularly in any case, and it's a good idea to do that before mucking with system settings. As for the second question, not really. Anyone who is in the position to install an OS has total control of the system. Is there some issue you're trying to resolve?
