I think this has a nice historical value, though I'm not sure how much. I think it does a nice job of displaying a Cyclopaedia entry. How would this do as a FP?; appears in Trigonometry, and I think the licensing is okay.

- It's got some interesting elements to it, but I'm not sure of the historical significance - if it were from an important early mathematics text, or by a major mathematician, rather than another encyclopedia, that'd be more like it (sure, the Cyclopedia has historical significance, but not specifically for trig). It also doesn't seem to relate to the article clearly; a lot of the diagrams appear to be about spherical trig, and all the "Fig. #" labels look like they ought to connect to detailed information in the text (as the drawings aren't self-explanatory). Also, eliminating the background noise from the scan to make a nice, clean, black & white image would help. Davepape 03:25, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
