V for Vendetta (film) edit

/Archive 1 - Old Peer Review from April 1st.

Greetings,

this article is about the film "V for Vendetta", it's an action thriller, based on a adaptation of a comic by Alan Moore. We've had this article up for peer review before when it was in a much earlier state. We're hoping to get it into a FA status. What do you think could stop this article from becoming featured? Is there anything that needs to be cut? Be expanded? Are there any readibility, writing, POV, or Original research issues that jump out at you? Comments are welcomed. Thank you.--P-Chan 21:23, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It looks a lot better than the last time I'd seen it. The "differences" section that held my primary interest is now much more succinct and hits nicely both on Alan Moore's key complaints and on the key differences in the film without being bogged down too much in details. I haven't looked through the whole thing yet, but I think it's already a lot better than many of the featured articles we have at present. The last sentence needs to be changed somehow though, as it's confused. I'm not sure how it's using the term anarchy, but it seems to be implying it's in the sense of chaos. In actuality it's open-ended, leaving it unclear as to whether things will go as V intended (a peaceful anarchy) or back towards the establishment of a new government. Changed Content: Hi Sarge, it's always good to hear your comments. You're right, in both of the stories the ending is cut so that it is very open-ended. The scope of the last sentence has thus been changed so that it only reflects how the regimes were overthrown.--P-Chan 02:32, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
