This film article has recently achieved GA status, and I would like to continue improving the article. I recognize that the Reception section is underdeveloped with critics' feedback, so I hope to change that. I'd like criticism regarding the Plot and Production sections. In addition, I'd like to know any suggestions about the best way to tie themes, influences, and interpretations together, if at all, as these three things are inter-connected yet distinct. Any other insights are also welcome. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 04:27, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Promotion goes before Reception.
  • Write some character information rather than the generic box.

I haven't seen the film yet so I'm unaware whether that's all the film offers, but I think it's certainly one that will be appreciated in the fullness of time, so keep an eye out for essays on the film's meaning. Wiki-newbie 10:43, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the Promotion before Reception. About writing character information, do you mean in the light of LOTR, Star Wars, etc.? Or do you mean taking out the table entirely and just have more content like what's there now, about Aronofsky hiring Jackman? --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 16:11, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly do mean describing these characters. If the film doesn't offer a lot of minor stuff on characters (eg. for ROTK, I don't mention Gothmog in the plot summary, but he's there in the cast list with his basic job in the film) then do dig up stuff on each actor's casting, like the GoldenEye or V for Vendetta Wiki-newbie 15:52, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the expanded cast information seems to be more in line with franchise films, such as LOTR, 007, and superhero films. I've noticed on FA-class non-franchise film articles that a table or list of the characters is actually nonexistent. The Fountain is closer to these films than the ones that you mentioned. What do you think? --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 15:54, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My suggestion then would be to copy the Dog Day Afternoon article. At least tell us who these minors are. Wiki-newbie 18:24, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've updated the cast list to a similar formatting to what you suggested (not Dog Day, before that). Anything else? —Erik (talkcontrib) - 17:52, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
