Selena was a spanish singer who's life ended very short and since then she cult status in Hispanic countries. Selena is one of the best-selling hispanic artists of all-time. I know this article still needs heavy work, especially with refs and organization but I did improve it quite a bit and I'm planning to work on it to featured status. - Expand the LEAD to three paragraphs, include after the first paragraph an overview of her life/career. Something like, "Born in X, she began her stage career at age X and by 19XX had achieved growing regional fame..." Also, the opening sentence has two mentions of "at the time of her death." - Per WP:LEAD it's two to three paragraphs, I got two and added a quick overview of her career on it so Done.
- Per WP:CONTEXT and WP:DATE, years without full dates should not be linked, while years with full dates should be linked. The bolding underneath early career seems a bit redundant. The categories should be alphabetized. There is a bit of weasel wording in here; for example Selena was considered one of the most popular and influential Latina musicians.
