I've worked on this article to improve it's standard in the hope of taking it up to a featured list in future hopefully. This is the first time I've nominated an article for this so all suggestions are very welcome Thanks, Kosack (talk) 14:50, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comments by Lemonade – Hi @Kosack:, noticed this on WP:FOOTY and hope this is still on your watchlist. Some comments to get the ball rolling (haven't got time to have a proper look at prose unfortunately):

Worth having a look at similar lists which are of the FL standard. For instance, Manchester United, FC Barcelona, Birmingham City, Malmö. Pay close attention to things that work well, take a look at their noms, and make sure to read the FL criteria as what passed five years ago doesn't necessarily make the cut today.
I think the lead picture should be more striking, perhaps the FA Cup-winning first team?
"Cardiff City Football Club is an Association football club...," association doesn't need capitalising
Riverside cricket club → Riverside Cricket Club
"In August 2000, the club was purchased by Lebanese businessman Sam Hammam who injected money into the side," reads a bit journalistic
Wouldn't the key be better above the seasons table?
Under 'specific' references, Ref 4, Mirror is a newspaper so needs 'newspaper=' parameter
Same goes for Ref 8, it's The Daily Telegraph
No dead links or dabs
