First circle of hell edit

I've listed this article for peer review because it's the first of a series of articles I've begun working on regarding the divisions of Dante's Inferno. Due to nature of the articles (I have also created the second and third parts so far), any suggestions here will be useful across multiple articles. I have deliberately avoided any of the "popular culture" cruft that can permeate these kinds of articles and want to focus on the actual subject itself; any sources that seem like obvious omissions or any themes not covered here would be welcome additions. • Led by his guide, the Roman poet Virgil, [...] There is a redundancy here, coming out to something like "Led by his leader". I advise trimming out "by his guide," for "Led by the Roman poet Virgil".
  • Actually, speaking of Virgil - I haven't read the Commedia - isn't this where he would end up in Hell? Does he have anything to say about that? –♠Vami_IV†♠ 09:20, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • [...] to free the souls of the Patriarchs, prominent Jewish figures of the Old Testment. The Patriarchs are already introduced by the sentence [...] and the Limbo of the Patriarchs for the virtuous Jews of the Old Testament; [...] What do you think of replacing the former text with "to free the souls of the biblical Patriarchs."?
  • This event is not explicitly described in the bible [...] Shouldn't "bible" here be "Bible", since the thing being referred to here is the Bible?
  • [...] Guido da Pisa and Francesco da Bruti [...] Inter-language links can be used here.
    • FYI, I hope Grapple X is doing well but I had to archive their FAC because they have not edited since 30 Jan. (t · c) buidhe 09:36, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
