Finding Nemo edit

I feel this article could be of Good Article or Feature Article quality if improved. I'm not an expert in what makes a Feature Article, so I've asked for this review so we know the best way to improve it. RMS Oceanic 18:59, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A quick skim shows some major issues: a citation-needed tag after the last sentence in the lead; total lack of a references section, and too many red links. Most of the those redlinks are probably for non-notable voice actors, so you can just black them straight off. See WP:LEAD, WP:CITE, and WP:Notability. Also, you really should at least look over the featured article criteria, so you understand the critiques. -Fsotrain09 22:15, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The paragraph beginning: "Tourism in Australia strongly increased during the summer and autumn of 2003, with many tourists wanting to swim off the coast of Eastern Australia to "find Nemo."..." sounds rather POV and its largest claims are uncited.
The Trivia section seems way too long. Maybe break it down into two sections - "Cultural references" (perhaps with subsections: "In Finding Nemo" and "To Finding Nemo") and (true/pure) "Trivia"?
Can I just second the recommendation for WP:CITE? - Malkinann 08:15, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just a few suggestions:

  • The intro could be expanded a bit more (see WP:LEAD).
  • While the article does have some inline citations, they are all not the same. This should be corrected.
  • The article needs a lot more citations (see WP:CITE).
  • Sections such as Inaccuracies should be expanded or included in with another section of the article.
  • Many sections are in bullet form. Most articles are moving away from this, as most of the time information can be placed into paragraph form.
  • Many articles are also moving away from Trivia sections. This information can be included into other parts of the article.
