Macromedia Flash Cartoon Collaboration of the Week | ||
The current MFCCOTW is Weebl and Bob . Please help improve it to featured article standard. Every week, a Macromedia Flash Cartoon-related topic, stub or nonexistent article is picked to be the Macromedia Flash Cartoon Collaboration of the Week. The previous MFCCOTW was Red Room.
|
The next candidate will be selected on 17 March 2006.
Every week, a Macromedia Flash Cartoon Collaboration of the Week.
This is a specific topic which is directly related to Flash Cartoon but of low quality, usually a complete stub or a broken page, the aim being to have a featured-standard article by the end of the week, from widespread cooperative editing.
The project aims to fill gaps about Flash Cartoon in Wikipedia. Anyone may nominate an article and can vote for the nominated articles.
Previous winners that have gone on to become featured articles can be found at /Features.
All previous winners can be found at /History.
Removed nominations can be found at /Removed.

Selecting the next Collaboration of the Week
editVoting
editThis collaboration adopts the approval voting system. In such system only support votes are counted. The candidate with the biggest number of support votes will become the winner.
To enter your votes, simply edit the appropriate sections by just inserting a new line with "# me". This will add your username and a time stamp in a new numbered list item.
Nominations
editNew nominations can be made at any time by anyone and should be added at the end of this page. Please use the template provided at the very bottom of the editbox.
If the page you are nominating already exists, please add {{MFCCOTW_candidate}} to the top of its talk page. This expands to:
This article has been nominated as a possible Macromedia Flash Cartoon Collaboration of the Week. To add your support, go to its listing. |
Considerations for nominations
edit- Please only nominate Flash Cartoon articles which definitely need serious work
- Giving reasons that explains why an article should become the MFCCOTW may assist others in casting their vote.
Selection and archiving
editIf the article is selected as the MFCCOTW, enter the article's complete title at Template:MFCCOTW article. The template {{MFCCOTW article}} should then be placed at the top of the selected article's page. This expands to:
When the article is no longer MFCCOTW, please
- removed the template {{Current MFCCOTW}} from the article.
- add the following template to the talk page: {{past acotw|date|year}}
- add the relevant information to the History page
Pruning
editThe nomination will be moved to /Removed if they do not attract enough attention. A nomination will be allowed to remain up for voting for two weeks per two votes it receives.
