Course Description
editDepartment of Electrical Engineering offers EE 204: Solid State Devices and Linear Circuits Laboratory, a 2 credit course to the second year autumn semester students. This laboratory introduces the students to the world of Electronic Devices and Circuits. The laboratory is another means besides lecture room to add Knowledge and train the students in technical skill. In this laboratory, students can acquire hands-on knowledge such as:
- How to use equipments like multi-meter, signal generator,
Oscilloscopes and other.
- How to build and fix the electronic circuits.
- How to apply the theory that was learned during lectures.
- How to analyze the output from the experiments.
- Providing basic for academic research.
To achieve this objective, the laboratory is planned in such a way that, the students will be exposed to experiments that can develop their analyzing skills.
Examination Scheme
editThe course examination scheme is follows:

Final grades will be awarded based on the total score obtained. The wikipedia based assignments are a substitute for the practical assignment worth 10 marks out of 50 internal marks. Students are required to work on wikipedia page assigned to them.
Assignments Overview
editALL THE STUDENTS MUST CREATE THEIR USER NAMES & USER PAGES BY 20th, AUG. 2011.
The assignments shall comprise of writing articles based on the course contents. The title or contents of the article for assignment shall be finalized in consultation with Course Instructor. Each assignment should be separate article. The submission of these assignments will be on Wikipedia.
