I know that a few attendees took some photos of the carousel at the Backstage Pass. Check Category:Children's Museum of Indianapolis soon. HstryQT (talk) 01:22, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not many were found on exhibit on the Backstage Pass, but I can speak with the curators about any rare/notable objects. Let me know if you have specific ideas/requests. HstryQT (talk) 01:22, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Artifacts from Native American involvement in early American wars, specifically from the American Revolutionary War, and from the engagement "Lochry's Defeat". (Requested by User:IronMaidenRocks
More likely something like this would be in the Eiteljorg's collection, but there might be some early Native American artifacts in the TCMI Cultural Collection. I'll add it to my list. HstryQT (talk) 12:03, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Dinosaurs: Prenoceratops, Archaeoceratops, baby Louie oviraptorid, Troodon teeth, and the curled up "Oviraptor cast skull". A profile shot of the Gastonia skull cast and of the unrestored Dracorex skull could be nice too.
  • Other extinct animals: Didelphodon, Dsungaripterus.
Many of these images, which are available through the IMCPL database, will be released by TCMI as low res, cc-by-sa images soon. HstryQT (talk) 01:22, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Don't bother taking pictures of sculptured life restorations and other such models, they can not be uploaded to Commons due to American copyright law (you'd need persmission from the artists, not the museum, unless the artists also transfer the intellectual ownership for them, which is not common practice). But fossils and skeleton casts are fine. FunkMonk (talk) 21:24, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
