Global Women Wikipedia Write-In edit
Barnard Library & Academic Information Services (BLAIS) partnered with Columbia's Center for Digital Research and Scholarship as well the Metropolitan New York Library Council to host an edit-a-thon as part of the Global Women Wikipedia Write-in on March 18, 2014. Approximately thirty editors attended, including librarians, faculty, and graduate students, many of whom were new to Wikipedia. Connected events took place at Emory University and Texas State University. Check out the meetup page.
Seven Siblings Women's History Edit-a-thon edit
On March 4, 2014, the Barnard College Library joined forces with other members of the Seven Siblings (née Sisters) colleges to host the Seven Siblings Women's History Edit-a-thon. Details are available on the event page. Articles created include:
