Original – One Deutsche Mark (1948), post WWII Allied occupied Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany). Circulated by the United States Army Command, this was the first of three 1948 issues of West German currency.

Reason: High quality image, high EV. Paired with the preceding note, these two 1948 Deutsche Mark notes represent the first issue of paper currency circulated in the German Democratic Republic and Federal Republic of Germany (formerly East and West Germany, respectively).
