The Frog edit

A frog in a suburban residential swimming pool around dusk

This image appears in the Frog article. The surreal colors were caused by the time of day. To capture this picture while the frog was in motion required great precision. The shadows enhance the image by showing its reality. I do realize that many frog pictures have been nominated, but this unique picture clearly stands out from the rest.

  • oppose completely blurry. Doesn't add significantly to the article. Circeus 01:14, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The frog is blurry, and the water has some strange artifacts (?). --liquidGhoul 01:24, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Just some comments: did the pool contain chlorine or salt? It is not a unique picture, you will find that many of the North American and European frog photos will show just the frog's head sticking out of the water, as many of their species are primarily aquatic. I personally don't like these photos, as only the head is illustrated well. Also, it may not be part of the frog article for much longer, as frog is currently AID, there is a lot of work going into it. Look at the talk page, and you will see the gallery we wish to add to it soon. If you would like for it to be in an article, it would be best to identify the species, and add it to that article. --liquidGhoul 01:24, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
