Original - Dougong (simplified Chinese: 斗拱; traditional Chinese: 鬥拱; pinyin: dǒugǒng) is a unique structural element of interlocking wooden brackets, one of the most important elements in traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean architecture. This particular Dougong is part of the Sagami Temple at Hyōgo Prefecture in Japan.
