Original – François Certain de Canrobert, who commanded troops in the Conquest of Algeria, and the Crimean and Franco-Prussian Wars, as well as being one of Napoleon III's supporters in the French coup d'état of 1851.

Reason: Another fine Nadar portrait, replacing one that had dipped out its blacks rather badly.
