A picture of a 2 month old male golden retriever

I think this is a fine example photo of the breed and think it is appealing to the eye. The focus is on the head, showing the facial shape of the breed well. It appears in the Golden Retriever article. It is my dog, Floyd. I took the photo and uploaded it.

  • Oppose cute dog but the image is blurry, the dog is on a weird angle compared to the shot, and the fact that the picture cuts off right at the near top of the ears detracts from it. Thygard - Talk - Contribs - Email ---- 07:51, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose - VERY blurry (you need to use a tripod, mate), would prefer more of the subject (i.e. whole puppy, for both educational reasons and to illustrate that most young puppies and kittens are noted for having very large paws, eyes and heads relative to the rest of the body), strange angle and would prefer a different background - you haven't got a white sheet you could plonk him on for a while, have you? —Vanderdecken ξφ 10:38, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose due to blur. also it's too cutesy I think to represent the breed in an encyclopedia, it looks more like it'd be a good ad for anti-animal cruelty. Pinkstarmaci 04:38, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Very blurry, shows too little of the dog. --Marumari 18:15, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
