Original – Fatata te Miti (By the Sea) is a painting completed by Paul Gauguin in 1892. It depicts two young Tahitian women diving naked in the sea, uninhibited by Western standards which were later forced upon them.

Reason: Vincent usually gets such a good reception, so why not Paul? This is one of his more dynamic images, from the Tahitian period. Obviously, it's a very high resolution and faithful scan.
