Elizabeth the I, Queen of England. edit

Original - Elizabeth I (7 September 1533 – 24 March 1603) was Queen of England and Queen of Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death. Sometimes called The Virgin Queen, Gloriana, The Faerie Queen or Good Queen Bess, Elizabeth was the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty.
Reason
I dunno why such a fantastic picture as never been nominated. It's main article is also featured, and this is perhaps the only proper picture we will get of this historical figure.

    • Yes. This scan shows the first word, "Non," which is right up against the frame (the frame itself has been cropped). Chick Bowen 03:31, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Looks like it was scanned out of a book since you can see the halftoning. Kaldari (talk) 17:18, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose several problems, but the halftoning can't be fixed. Worthy subject, something better should be available. DurovaCharge! 00:53, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
