Daffodil

GarrettRock edit: all I did was lighten the photo up a bit.

I think this shot captures the unique structure of an ordinary Daffodil. This photograph was taken during a visit to Longwood Gardens, Pennsylvania. This picture appears in the article: "Daffodils."

  • Support. What an awesome position to take a picture of such a small flower! A little dark, but what an awesome photograph!!!!!! It looks great. I love the detail! Christine

  • Oppose great photograph but it's dark. Anonymous__Anonymous 15:18, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weakly support Oppose. This photograph has bad framing, shadow, and light. Garrett Rock 16:15, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - cropped too tight, ordinary composition. --P199 16:25, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose both versions. Grainy, subject cut off, original too dark. --Pharaoh Hound 19:07, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Could have been much better with lighting. I'm tempted to show one of my own daffodils, although it's probably even worse. deeptrivia (talk) 19:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Yes, your picture is much worse. Don't criticize me until you have a better picture. Thanks:)

Comment: You're right, Pharaoh's hound. There should be more peace in this world, like you. Thanks for spreading the love! :) In fact, maybe none of us should criticize each other's work, since none of us are professionals, anyway, and we all have different tastes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cd78 (talkcontribs)

If you don't want your photo criticised, this is probably not the right place to promote it. Stevage 10:31, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Picture is way too dark. --Mad Max 21:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment This should be closed, the photo is not going to be promoted and the nominator seems to be using sockpuppets to help boost the pictures support. --Mad Max 21:37, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. How do you know? Don't influence other voters please.
  • Oppose. Too blurry/grainy. Mr. Lefty Talk to me! 20:17, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The whole pic is slightly blurry which spoils it for me - Adrian Pingstone 20:19, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose Picture is somewhat less than crisp --Fir0002 09:40, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
