Carterandsadat edit

File:Carterandsadat.jpg
Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat and President Jimmy Carter of the United States during the Camp David Accords

Extremely historical image, represents one of the most profound moments in the struggle for peace between Israel and her neighbors. Also: excellent quality photo for its time and position (in brightly lit area); appears in the Camp David Accords, taken by the White House Press Photographer.

  • Oppose. Too small, not visually interesting. —Keenan Pepper 05:19, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose - Far too small. Please actually READ the featured picture criteria before nominating an image, it prevents so many failed nominations. This picture is only 500×396 pixels, it should be at least double the size (biggest side has to be 1000px+) before it can even be considered for FP. —Vanderdecken ξφ 09:38, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment. Sorry for mistake... thought original photo was better resolution, quality... (But it is visually interesting). I agree to immediately remove the photo from the candidacy list. Thanks. AJ24 13:07, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Historical, yes. But not interesting, and extremely grainy. Cab02 14:41, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Too small so disobeys FPC rules - Adrian Pingstone 16:08, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
