Original – Baryte crystal growth (transparent upper part) on a dolomite substrate (the opaque pinkish bottom), specimen size 6.0 × 4.0 × 1.5 cm, from Peru.

Reason: Quality depiction of Baryte crystal formation. The opaque substrate on the bottom is dolomite. I saw this on Commons recently.
