OriginalRembrandt's Self-Portrait at the Age of 63 (1669) was the last selfie he undertook, and among the last of his paintings before he died in October 1669. He's lost almost everybody he loved by this stage (his son predeceased him the same year) and had been declared bankrupt after years of success, and there is suffering and sadness in the eyes.
Reason
Great scan of a master's final self-portrait
