(I can finally to a QPQ review ;)) Good work with the list, I have the following comments:

Remove the 2017 winner from the intro, it is already in the infobox and in the table below.

"...Boston Red Sox who won their first World Series in 86 years" - slightly ambiguous, I had to search to find if they had won it 86 yrs ago or had been in comp 86 years and this was their first win. Only fix I can think of is 'first World Series since 1918'

Dutch former footballer and coach link to Manager (association football). In Australia, we use the term coach but I believe in the rest of the world and especially Europe uses the term manager. Happy to either change coach to manager or keep as coach but the link should be included either way.
