I am nominating this featured article for review because I believe the article is way off being of featured quality. it passed in May 2006 and clearly wouldn't pass today. It only has 44 sources, a poor biographical coverage and given the extent of the topic is a far from comprehensive account of Nostradamus and how people have interpreted him. If you browse google books for instance you'll easily find material which could be used to greatly improve this. As this article will be getting a lot of traffic over the next week or two I think having it as an FA will disappoint a lot of people. It is neither comprehensive or well-researched, failing several of the requirements for FA. I mean no disrespect to Jim or anybody else who got it this far but I'm pretty sure that this doesn't meet criteria and is obviously in need of a lot more research, content which might not have been available back then. I've notified parties involved with the FAC and Malleus as an individual well rehearsed in what meets FA requirements to comment.

I don't think you are understanding; I am not referring to notifying significant contributors. Remove FAR, out of process. See the FAR instructions. This FA will not be delisted before December 21, and the point of noticing in advance on talk is that the increased traffic may result in article improvement. Why do have to be so haughty about everything? Fine, I've left a note on the talk page. Leave it a week to see if improvements are made if this is OK by you? There are only so many ways one say, read the FAR instructions. Please remove the FAR. Otherwise, a delegate will just have to do it when they come along (whether it is "OK by me" is irrelevant). SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:35, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
