Any article directly related to the album topic has been included. All are good articles. Keeping this in mind I nominate it as a good topic --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 16:21, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose for now. A few concerns about the Loca and Rabiosa articles:
  • PopCrush (used in Rabiosa), PopDust (used in Addicted to You), Oh No They Didn't (used in Loca); Yahoo! Voices (it's user-contributed material), a Blogger blog (Dave's Music Database) from Loca are not reliable. I'd stay away from TheCelebrityCafe, Gossip Center, OK! Magazine, Bark Bite (never heard of it) and About.com as well;
  • The Loca references are completely against what you taught me (websites aren't italicized, etc.); some iTunes Store references don't have 'Store' written on the publisher field;
  • "Rabiosa" in the Loca article's infobox is italicized and without quotation marks;
  • The first paragraph of Loca's "Background and composition" should be broken into two.
  • "Lyrically, the song focuses on Shakira and El Cata, or Pitbull, singing about each other's sex appeal."
  • Lyrically is redundant. How could it musically focus on them singing about their sex appeal?
  • "focuses on [her and him or him] singing about each other's sex appeal" (awkward and not easy to read... maybe features its protagonists singing about (...))

Sorry, but we really have to make sure that these articles follow the GA guidelines; ping me when/if you correct these points. — prism 18:07, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Prism:I have addressed these issues, though I wish you had pointed out the Rabiosa problems when you were reviewing the article lol. Anyway I have also removed or replaced most of the sites you mentioned except TheCelebrityCafe, which I know is reliable even though its name sounds gossipy.(http://thecelebritycafe.com/press/thecelebritycafecom-turns-15, http://thecelebritycafe.com/press/thecelebritycafecom-receives-libns-40-under-40-award)
Sorry, I've learned a lot since I first started reviewing GAs. I give you my Support. — prism 16:32, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Comments from WikiRedactor
Sale el Sol and "Antes de las Seis" include citations in the lead because they have quotes in the lead, and you need a source to know where the words came from. There are various articles that include one or two sources in lead (Kylie Minogue Rich Girl (Gwen Stefani song) Heat (perfume) Saga (comic book))
  • The dates in the articles should follow a day-first format, since that is the standard used in Shakira's native Columbia.
  • Can you trim the introduction for The Sun Comes Out World Tour?
  • I also agree with the points that Prism brought up before my comments, and would like to see those corrected, as well.

I'll check back in after these corrections are made and I'll go from there! WikiRedactor (talk) 19:54, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@WikiRedactor: Done all. Oh god believe me when I say I must have added archive links to almost 100 citations today. Ugh why did Shakira's archive website go off. --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 19:18, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@WonderBoy1998: Good work with all the changes, I'm happy to give you my support! WikiRedactor (talk) 22:07, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Comments from Magiciandude

Due to my health, I can't do a full review, but here are some things I picked up.

  • On "Loca", you mentioned that is a Latin pop song, yet it is not mentioned or sourced in the body of the article or I might have missed it.
In the Background and composition section, there is a line " "Loca" is a Latin-pop song composed of horn-laden merengue beats combined with techno dance percussion beats"
  • On "Antes de las Seis," is it Latin pop ballad or Latin ballad? The source you gave for genre gives me a 404 error.
It is a Latin pop ballad and that is mentioned in the lead, bg and composition section, and the infobox. The two sources given (http://northernarizonanews.com/blog/2010/10/28/soundcheck-shakiras-sale-el-sol/, http://web.archive.org/web/20121118102049/http://archive.shakira.com/news/title/antes-de-las-seis-to-be-shakiras-next-single) are working links.
