|language=enin some references. May I know how did you cite sources? Ippantekina (talk) 16:56, 18 September 2022 (UTC)- @Ippantekina: the primary way I cite sources is by using the Visual Editor's citation maker - it's hard for me to format refs on Wikitext, so this was a more convenient way of doing it for me, blips aside... generating citations using that method automatically adds
|language=enfor English-language websites. I used to think they were useless, though another editor informed me that the parameter helps translating editors with recreating an article in another language - i.e. the reference will show up w/ something like "(in English)" in other language Wikipedias. I can put the parameter on all the other refs - or remove them altogether - for consistency, if you wish. Your Power 🐍 💬 "What did I tell you?"
